Pgpool-II V4.5.4 supports PostgreSQL 17, except for the new parser introduced in PostgreSQL 17. 

If you want to use the new SQL features of PostgreSQL 17, you will need to use Pgpool-II 4.6,
which is currently under development as the next major release.

Additionally, RPM packages for PostgreSQL 17 will be provided after the GA release of PostgreSQL 17.
