[pgpool-general: 9076] Suggestions on backend_clustering_mode

I have 3 backends, I'm currently using the default streaming_replication. I have run into some issues with Atlassian's Jira where they claim that the offloading of read queries and the delays in replication are causing issues. Their suggestion is to switch to snapshot_isolation. I have done a little bit of reading on this and snapshot_isolation appears to have some issues of it's own as well. What are others using for backend_clustering_mode and why?
