[pgpool-general: 8661] replication slots

During testing with one of my environments, a 3 node (Postgres-14 / pgpool 4.4.2) cluster is suddenly not behaving.

Where node0 is primary and node1 and node2 are standbys with streaming replication_state and async replication_sync_state.
If I shutdown the OS on node0, node1 takes over as primary (as expected) but node2 is also shutdown.
I don't understand why this is.

Can someone help?
