[pgpool-general: 8475] Pgpool stops working and makes system unusable

Hello, i have setup a 3 node postgresql cluster with pgpool-2 version
4.3.2.1 on ubuntu 20.04 vms, i have a problem with a specific vm when it
runs as the master, i have noticed that usually at the night pgpool stops
working with the following output in the logs
^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^^@^@^@^@^@^^@^@^@. Failover occurs and one of
the other nodes becomes the master but after that the machine loses
connectivity, i cant ssh into the machine (no route to host) and the system
stops logging(syslog is empty after pgpool stops working until the reboot).
Has anyone noticed a similar problem for that specific version.
