[pgpool-general: 5218] Scripting a standby down action in pgpool

Hey folks,

If a standby PostgreSQL server (NOT primary) goes down or is taken off line, is there a way to trigger a shell script for an action for this event in pgpool?  I know this information is available via the pgpool status query, but I'd like to script an action for this event when it happens.
