[pgpool-general: 4763] Cpu increase with pgpool

Hello,

After to start the pgpool service the load average increased a lot of.

My postgresql.conf

max_connections = 500

My pgpool.conf

num_init_children = 32

max_pool = 4

Before to start the pgpool load average was about 1, after to start the
pgpool the load average is increasing, for example: now the load average:

load average: 28.63, 27.34, 24.24

Any idea?
